Parch is a variable font family with letters reversed out of a background border. The all caps and Uniwidth forms are made from a selection of rectangle and triangular building blocks, giving it a distinct and rigid feel in the regular weight. It was inspired by the different ways that vinyl signage can peel and deteriorate over time. It was designed to use in reverse with a decaying variable axis, with the lightest and heaviest weights showing the most deterioration. The full family also includes 7 static weights in both positive and negative styles for ease of use. This experimental display family comes from the world of signage, but would also work great on your next spooky or mechanical design project. Test it out below
